This exceptional and unique Christmas parure is an old set from the 1940's. The design is very uncommon, with open bottomed bells paved with rows of clear rhinestones. The bells were glazed in bright red enamel and overshot with air brushed enamel in dark Christmas green. Each bell has a ribbon bow top, and only the brooch was made to accommodate rhinestones on the bow. This set is made of old thick and heavy pot metal. The earrings are clip and have light enamel wear, but the clips have tight snap. he whole set appears to have never been worn. Very excellent like new condition with only some minor wear on the clip hinges. All of the rhinestones are original, present and clear. The brooch is 1 1/2" tall x 1 1/2" wide and the earrings are 1" long x 1" wide. Not signed, but certainly made in the US in the late 1940s.
